Biography
I'm a Pisces. So, you know, I like to talk about feelings and exist in full-disclosure mode.
I graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor's in Journalism. I loved being a reporter for several years covering Yamhill, Tillamook and Lincoln counties.
I am proud of earning these two awards as a reporter:
2001 Oregon Newspaper Publishers Association First Place for "Best Enterprise Reporting" specifically cited for "quality of research."
1993-1994 Washington Journalism Education Association - "Excellence in Journalism Award" for "service, dedication and leadership in your publication."
I am a freelance writer and when I'm not busy trying to organize everything, I'm following my dream of writing fiction. This blog is my way of taking notes on the journey.
Interests
writing, journaling, scrapbooking, hiking (especially the part where we're back home admiring pictures of our trip), making lists, then making lists of those lists, hanging out with people I adore.
